Chandigarh to Amritsar

Day 01: Chandigarh-Amritsar

Arrival at Chandigarh Airport/Railway station and then shall transfer to Amritsar the city of the Golden Temple. On arrival at airport / railway station in Amritsar, you will be transferred to your hotel. check in Amritsar. The rest of the day is at leisure.Overnight in Amritsar.

Day 02: Sightseeing of Amritsar

In the morning, visit to the beautiful Harmandir Sahib, famously known as the Golden Temple. It is called so, for its roof is gold leafed. Then visit the sombre site of the notorious massacre of Indians under British rule at the Jallianwala Bagh gardens and the memorial that commemorates the political uprising of 1919. After lunch Proceed on a drive to Wagah border the only road border crossing between India and Pakistan and witness the elaborate 'Beating the Retreat' or 'lowering of the flags' ceremony between the Border Security Force of India and the Pakistan Rangers at sunset. Overnight in Amritsar.

Day 03: Depart

After Breakfast we shall leave for rest of the sight seeing going to Chandigarh railway station/airport for your onward journey
